About Bageletto

(Bay-guh-LET-oh). A modern eatery paying homage to east coast culinary heritage. Serving espresso, coffee, bagels, breakfast-lunch-specialty sandwiches.

Located at 76 14th St, San Francisco, CA 94103, Bageletto operates as a bagel shop serving San Francisco in California. American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (415) 869-8811. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is bageletto.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 174 reviews, which is a strong result for a bagel shop in San Francisco and suggests consistent service.

San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Good Lox and Loaded Bagel. Get it with the sesame bagel! I think the seeds added a lot to the overall taste. There is a lot of cream cheese which I personally removed. Tried twice!

The bagels are just ok - good enough if you’re in the area, but there are better options in the city in my opinion. DO NOT get the Smash sandwich - in the middle of the summer, I would expect at least somewhat ripe tomatoes. The tomato should be the highlight of this sandwich, but mine was loaded with crunchy beefsteaks that tasted like water. I ended up just taking them off. My advice - if you’re not going to put any effort into the tomatoes, take this item off the menu. On the other hand, the maple sage latte was delicious. Earthy and subtly sweet with the maple flavor shining through.

I had a great everything bagel and delicious coffee at Bageletto. The bagel was a good size and baked well with nice everything seasoning. Definitely one of the best bagels I've had on the west coast.

This bagel was so good I couldn’t let the camera eat first. Seriously, this is the first New York quality bagel I’ve had since moving to SF 12 years ago. The bagel had air.. gasp! The chive shmear was fantastic and the lox was super high quality. All the flavors were well balanced with the pickled onion, capers, and lemon zest. My only regret was not trying more sandwiches. Cannot recommend enough. This team completely nailed it!

I have truly never written a review so quickly. I’ve lived in the Bay for 12 years and this is the 1st time I’ve actually had a proper NYC style bagel. Got the classic breakfast on everything with egg, bacon, cheese & I had them add scallion schmear. INSTANTLY transported me to Brooklyn. Would give them 6/5 stars if I could. Top notch all around.πŸ‘ Can’t wait to come back.
